Implementation of production of innovative equipment for RDF processing purposes
Project description:
The project will be implemented in Dębowica in the Łuków district of the Lublin province. The project is prepared for implementation due to the possession of permits and administrative decisions. The subject of the project includes the purchase of fixed assets and ultimately the start of production of innovative plants for the production of RDF briquette. There will be construction and equipment of the production plant and the application of innovative technologies. The product of the project in the form of an installation for the production of RDF briquette will find a wide range of customers among RIPOKs, is an innovative product on a supra-national scale. The project will result in the establishment of an efficient production plant, where at least 10 new employees will be employed.

Project goal:
The aim of the project is to implement a new business model of internationalization (MBI) related to the introduction of products manufactured by PROTECHNIKA to foreign markets, which will increase the company’s economic activity and launch the company’s operations on international markets to a degree adequate to the company’s capabilities and potential.
Planned effects:
Increased sales of Protechnika Łuków Sp. z o.o. products, building a permanent presence of products on the foreign market, and building awareness of the Protechnika Łuków Sp. z o.o. brand.

PROTECHNIKA SPÓŁKA Z OGRANICZONĄ ODPOWIEDZIALNOŚCIĄ is implementing a project titled “Development and implementation of an innovative bag tearing device, Smart Bag Opener.”
Protechnika received a grant from the European Union for this project under the European Funds for the Lublin Region 2021-2027 Programme.
Tasks carried out as part of the project:
Thanks to the project’s implementation, a new production facility will be launched. The project will increase our company’s revenues, making it even more competitive in the machinery and equipment production market.
The project implementation includes the following stages:
- Industrial research – design of modules: rotating rotor and automatic cleaning system,
- Experimental development work – construction and testing of a Smart Bag Opener prototype in real-world conditions
- Pre-implementation work – activities in the field of industrial property protection: utility models and industrial designs, patent applications and trademarks,
- Implementation work – investments in fixed assets necessary to start serial production of the device (machining center).
Project target groups:
The project and its results are aimed primarily at:
- companies and plants in the waste management sector (both public and private),
- recycling plants and sorting plants for municipal and industrial waste,
- enterprises producing secondary raw materials,
- residents of the Lublin Voivodeship – company employees involved in the development of innovations and the implementation of R&D results
Project goals:
The aim of the project is to develop and implement into production a groundbreaking bag tearing machine, Smart Bag Opener, equipped with two innovative modules:
- A module with a rotating rotor that effectively tears the bags without damaging their contents,
- Automatic cleaning module that reduces downtime and increases process reliability.
The developed technology will increase the efficiency of opening bags in the waste sorting process, reduce the amount of secondary pollution, limit the risk of failure and improve work safety.
Project effects and results:
The result of the project will be the introduction of a new generation of bag-opening machines to the market, which:
- will significantly increase the efficiency of waste sorting plants,
- will reduce the need for manual interventions and maintenance costs,
- will improve the quality of recovered secondary raw materials,
- will be subject to patent and design protection,
- will strengthen Protechnika’s position as an innovative leader in the recycling industry

PROTECHNIKA Sp. z o.o. is implementing a project titled “Implementation of the UZ 5000 M mobile loading system developed as a result of R&D work.” The company received a grant from the European Union for this project under the European Funds for Lublin 2021-2027 Programme.
Tasks carried out as part of the project:
The project implementation includes the following stages:
- Development of exports of innovative products: activities supporting the internationalization of a new product
- Implementation of product innovation: As part of this activity, the company will implement the UZ 5000 M mobile loading system into its own business activities by purchasing a laser cutting machine for pipes and profiles, which is a key element of the technological process necessary for the production of UZ 5000 M structural components.
Project target groups:
The project is aimed at the business sector in the Lublin Voivodeship, in particular companies from the waste processing industry and suppliers and integrators of mobile technologies for the circular economy.
Project goals:
The aim of the project is to start production of a new product (product innovation on an international market scale).
Project effects and results:
The result of the project will be the commencement of production of an innovative device, thanks to which the company will significantly increase its competitiveness and export potential – the project is of significant importance for the development of innovative specializations in the Lublin Voivodeship.

Tasks carried out as part of the project:
As part of the project, a transformation business model based on circular economy principles will be developed. The document will outline the current status and potential for implementing circular economy solutions across the company’s operations.
Target groups:
The target groups that will benefit from the project are the company’s employees and management, as well as collaborating entities. Thanks to the project’s implementation, the target groups will receive recommendations regarding the circular economy to, among other things, minimize waste, optimize raw material consumption, and improve the efficiency and sustainability of their operations.
The aim of the project is to determine the possibilities of implementing process and/or product changes related to circular economy, to precisely define the action plan and strategy for implementing circular economy, taking into account specific business segments and risks, and to present recommendations for further organizational, operational and technological actions enabling the effective implementation of circular economy, which will translate into new benefits in the company’s operations.
The project will result in a strategic, comprehensive and complete document covering the analysis of the entire enterprise and presenting the possibilities of implementing circular economy solutions across the company’s operations.
The developed technology will increase the efficiency of opening bags in the waste sorting process, reduce the amount of secondary pollution, limit the risk of failure and improve work safety.
